Artistic Director Kevin Kaiser is a Pacific Northwest Ballet veteran who personally danced nearly every male role in Kent Stowell and Maurice Sendak's famed production of The Nutcracker, from the heroic Nutcracker Prince to the mysterious Drosselmeyer.
As a former Ballet Master/Associate Artistic Director of the Oregon Ballet Theatre, he has been entrusted to stage works by legendary choreographers like George Balanchine and Robert Joffrey. This high-level technical knowledge ensures the Issaquah production is brought to the stage with authentic artistry and precision.
Danielle Wilkins is the visionary choreographer behind the 2025 Issaquah Dance Theatre Ensemble production. Each year, Danielle thoughtfully reimagines and refines sections of the ballet, infusing The Nutcracker with fresh artistry while honoring its timeless tradition.

The show takes place at the Longman Performing Arts Center, Issaquah's own modern, professional theater tucked inside the campus of Issaquah High School.
With 600 seats, a sophisticated fly system for elaborate sets, and advanced lighting and sound, the Longman provides the perfect environment for high caliber ballet in Issaquah.
